The company was initially set up and registered as Masira Global Ventures Sdn Bhd, which commenced operations on the 16th January 2009.
On 17th January 2017, Masira Global Ventures Sdn Bhd underwent a restructuring exercise of turning into a “Holdings Sdn Bhd” company and changed its name to MERHAS Development Holdings Sdn Bhd (844525-H). This present company is under the directorship of fully Sarawakian with 100% Bumiputera status. They have been the main driving force behind the Company's development, growth and expansion.
The Company's involvement in the various fields of building and civil engineering has seen it successfully completing numerous contracts from both the Private and Government sector.
